Lemar Williams

True strategic advantage is found not in the motion, but in the clarity of the vision.

For almost two decades, Lemar worked as an investment professional for some of the largest and most powerful financial institutions in the world. He realized that despite the sustained financial success of these institutions, many individuals and families have not been able to sustain their own version of financial success over multiple generations. Lemar Williams started Traditions because he believed it was time for a different approach. He is convicted in a belief that families and individuals can create the type of legacy that rivals the longevity of successful institutions. His philosophy is to invest in every person’s greatest asset, which is themselves and the individuals they care most about.

They started Grove in a single office in Portland with twelve client families and an unwavering commitment to the fiduciary standard — before it was fashionable, and long before it was legally required.
